Last year's winning team Particle Peers presents results in Georgia
The Particle Peers from the Netherlands, one of last year's winning teams, went to the 8th Beam Telescopes and Test Beams Workshop happening this week in Tbilisi, Georgia and presented their results, which they have obtained at DESY last year during BL4S. Several grants were gathered, which allowed them to register for the workshop and to present their results in front of about 80 professional physicists.
Furthermore, the workshop gave these students further insights, which can help them when writing up their results in a scientific paper, which can be published in a journal. With all their experiences gathered in the context of this competition, the Particle Peers would like to skip the rest of school to jump directly to studying at university. Good luck, Particle Peers!
