BL4S Edition 2014

The first edition of the Beamline for Schools competition was a big success and immediately triggered a lot of interest worldwide. In total, 292 teams from 50 different countries with more than 3000 students took part in the very first edition!

Find below the written proposals, the video proposals, and media coverage of the two winning teams: the Team Odysseus' Comrades from the Varvakios Pilot School in Athens, Greece, and the Team Dominicus College from the Dominicus College in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Moreover, the Team Dominicus College published a paper together with Nikhef and the Radboud University (Netherlands) in "Physics Education" (2016), the international journal of the Institute of Physics (IOP).
