BL4S Edition 2016

The third edition of the Beamline for Schools competition included an impressive total of 150 teams from 37 countries, which had submitted a full proposal – representing a total of about 1250 motivated students!

Two teams of high-school students, “Pyramid hunters” from Poland and “Relatively Special” from the United Kingdom, have been selected to travel to CERN in September to carry out their own experiments using a CERN accelerator beam. Check out the proposals, videos and media coverage of the two winning teams and find the paper published in "Physics Education" 2018, the international journal of the Institute of Physics (IOP), by the team “Pyramid hunters” from Poland.
